Field Application Engineer

Salary: $82,000 - 122,000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Engineering, specifically BSME, BSIE, or BSEE. We require at least two years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation. Hydraulic systems experience is preferred. We require familiarity with hand and power tools. We require at least two years of experience using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of fluid power is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Prior experience as a Field Application Engineer or in a similar technical position is preferred. We require strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities: We spend much of our time working outside the office, traveling from site to site, including cross-country travel. We install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or systems in line with specifications and safety standards. We perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep equipment operating at peak performance. We diagnose technical problems and identify suitable solutions. We provide technical support and guidance to customers. We maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and parts used. We ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. We communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members to support satisfaction. We provide production support through assembly and routine testing of products used in field applications. We assist the Product Division and Sales Department by resolving field issues, clarifying customer needs, and supporting technical product questions. We carry out other duties as assigned.
