Entry Level Software Engineer

Salary: $84000 - 125000 per year Requirements: We want candidates with at least 18 months of experience in object-oriented programming such as C#, Java, C++, or similar, gained through work or academic projects. We are looking for people who can demonstrate application development experience. We value a solid grasp of programming fundamentals and database concepts. We need team-oriented professionals who communicate effectively and work well in fast-moving environments. We prefer highly driven, self-starting individuals who bring energy, confidence, and ambition. An advanced technical degree or related training is a plus, though not mandatory. Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and ReactJS is beneficial but not required. Cloud experience is also an advantage, but not essential. Responsibilities: We collaborate with our team to build, deploy, monitor, and manage a high-performing, highly available production system. We write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. We partner with teammates on best practices, code reviews, internal tooling, and process improvements. We champion new ideas within our team. We evaluate open-source and industry-standard solutions that may fit our organization. We contribute as hands-on software engineers within a scrum team. We design practical, scalable solutions for complex business challenges. We apply modern software design principles, best practices, design patterns, and frameworks with attention to performance and maintainability. We work closely with developers and technical leads in an environment that includes collaborative programming and mentoring.
