Enterprise Solution Architect – Digital & Omnichannel Permanent | Auckland (Hybrid) The organisation Our client is one of New Zealand's most recognised and trusted organisations. It serves a large customer base across a diverse portfolio of services. They're investing in how customers interact with them across digital, assisted and in-person channels, and they need a senior architect to help shape what comes next. You'll join a well-regarded architecture team that already has specialist Data, Integration and CRM architects. This role is the generalist who connects the pieces, with a lean towards digital, omnichannel and marketing technology. The role As Enterprise Solution Architect, you'll set enterprise-wide architectural direction while staying close to delivery. You'll work with stakeholders to define the problem before shaping the solution, and make sure technology decisions tie back to business strategy and digital priorities. Key responsibilities include: Leading the design and governance of enterprise solution architectures across digital and customer platforms Developing roadmaps, reference architectures and high-level designs aligned to business and digital strategy Evaluating architectural options on cost, risk, scalability and strategic fit, then making clear recommendations Acting as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leaders on architecture, emerging technology and digital transformation Providing architectural leadership and mentoring to specialist architects, technical leads and delivery teams (no direct reports) Facilitating workshops that bring business and technology communities to a shared understanding Managing vendor and solution-provider relationships to ensure alignment with enterprise standards About you You're an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect who is equally comfortable in a boardroom and a design session. You'll bring: 10+ years' progressive experience in enterprise or solution architecture, ideally in a consulting and/or large corporate environment A strong background in digital and omnichannel architecture, such as web and app platforms, customer portals, DXP/CMS, martech, personalisation or customer engagement Exposure to data platforms and customer data, enough to work confidently alongside data specialists Broad generalist knowledge across cloud, integration, security and delivery, with solid business acumen Excellent written, visual and verbal storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences The confidence to challenge the status quo and debate robustly while keeping stakeholders engaged TOGAF, SAFe or similar certifications (highly regarded), plus a postgraduate qualification in IS or Computer Science, or equivalent experience Apply now If you're an Enterprise Solution Architect with a digital and omnichannel edge, click Apply Now.
