Enterprise Payments Programmer/Analyst (GCP)

Salary: $114,400 - 141,440 per year Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in application development or systems analysis At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, or Python; React is required Experience building RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and NoSQL data stores Hands-on experience with Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, or GKE; Pub/Sub; Cloud SQL and/or BigQuery; and GCP IAM fundamentals Experience using CI/CD pipelines and Git-based repositories Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as our employees Preferred: Experience supporting payments or financial services applications; familiarity with ACH, debit and credit cards, Zelle, or bill pay; Terraform and Infrastructure as Code; regulated or compliance-driven environments; monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog; and Agile/Scrum environments Responsibilities: Analyze business and technical requirements and turn them into effective technical solutions Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications on GCP Implement serverless and container-based solutions using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and/or GKE Develop asynchronous, event-driven integrations with Pub/Sub Build and maintain APIs using Apigee or GCP API Gateway Design and manage data solutions using Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Firestore Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code that meets enterprise standards Support application configuration, deployment, and automation using Cloud Build and Terraform Monitor application health and troubleshoot issues with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes Provide production support, including a scheduled on-call rotation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and fixes on time Support unit, integration, and regression testing Help improve development practices, performance, and security Technologies: API Apigee BigQuery CI/CD Cloud Datadog Dynatrace GCP Git IAM Support JavaScript MySQL NoSQL PostgreSQL Python React SQL Serverless Splunk Terraform TypeScript NodeJS Security More: We are recruiting a Senior Programmer/Analyst (GCP) for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a regional financial institutions Enterprise Payments platform.
