Engineering Support Coordinator

Engineering Support Coordinator Pay: Based on Experience Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, M-F Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Support Coordinator to assist with customer projects and internal manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly computer proficient and has experience—or a strong interest—in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, or drafting. You'll work closely with customers, engineers, and production teams to ensure project accuracy from start to finish. Responsibilities Review customer drawings and project specifications Assist with blueprint interpretation and documentation Communicate with customers, engineers, and internal departments Prepare job documentation and production information Enter and maintain project data Verify dimensions and measurements Support production planning and scheduling Maintain accurate electronic records Qualifications Strong computer skills Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency Experience reading blueprints preferred Drafting or CAD coursework is a plus Metal fabrication knowledge preferred or willingness to learn Strong math and measurement skills Excellent written and verbal communication Professional phone and email etiquette Strong organizational skills EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
