Engineering Manager, Workflow Orchestration

📋 Description Lead and grow a team building distributed orchestration infrastructure for daily data workflows. Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for orchestration aligned with data platform strategy. Drive adoption of best-in-class workflow paradigms across data engineering, reliability, and ML teams. Partner with Data Platform, Compute, Storage, Analytics, and ML Infra to integrate orchestration into data ecosystems. Coach and mentor engineers, fostering ownership and psychological safety. Recruit top engineering talent and grow engineers' careers with inclusive leadership. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years of engineering leadership leading and scaling distributed systems teams. Strong background in distributed systems, workflow engines, scheduling systems, or data infra tooling. Experience with large-scale orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Dagster, Flyte, Prefect, Kubeflow, Maestro). Strong software engineering fundamentals: OOP/functional, design patterns, code quality. Proven ability to partner with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable infrastructure.
