📋 Description Lead a team of 4 to 8 senior engineers to deliver high-availability banking services. Translate company and product direction into clear, measurable team objectives. Build a predictable delivery system that makes progress, risks, and tradeoffs visible. Balance customer-facing improvements with platform reliability, operational readiness, and Partner with Product, Design, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to make Mercury’s banking products Hire and onboard engineers while maintaining a consistent, high-quality interview process. 🎯 Requirements Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team. Experience building or operating reliable financial, banking, payments, or other high-integrity Comfortable working across product, policy, infrastructure, and operational boundaries. Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear decisions, owners, and execution plans. Strong technical judgment and ability to engage deeply with system design and implementation. Experience developing senior engineers and creating opportunities for engineers to lead. 🎁 Benefits Total rewards package includes base salary, equity (stock options/RSUs), and benefits.
