Engineering Manager

Salary: $159000 - 201000 per year Requirements: We need 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting. We are looking for proven success designing and delivering complex, scalable enterprise systems. We require strong hands-on expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus APIs, microservices, and integration approaches. We expect familiarity with enterprise IT environments, infrastructure, security controls, and compliance frameworks. We value excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences. We require experience working in agile, cross-functional teams within a fast-paced environment. We prefer candidates with exposure to startup or high-growth settings. We prefer experience in fintech, healthcare, or SaaS environments. We value relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar credentials. We prefer prior experience leading architecture in client-facing or consulting roles. Responsibilities: We translate customer and product needs into scalable, end-to-end technical architectures. We design solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments using modern tools and frameworks. We create proofs of concept, architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and proposal materials. We ensure our designs follow industry best practices for security, scalability, and performance. We partner closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to shape solution direction. We lead discovery workshops and technical deep-dive sessions with internal teams and client stakeholders. We communicate architectural choices clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. We support handoff to delivery teams and remain engaged during critical implementation phases. We stay current on emerging technologies and assess how they can strengthen our stack. We contribute to internal knowledge sharing, design standards, and architecture best practices. We mentor engineers and help raise the overall level of technical thinking across the team.
