Embedded Software Engineer

Salary: $94000 - 175000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 4 years of pertinent experience; OR a Graduate Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR 8 years of relevant experience in place of a degree. Professional expertise in embedded systems integration and testing (software/hardware). At least 2 years of experience with C/C++, Python, Linux, and RTOS. Hands-on experience with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and Software in the Loop (SIL) methodologies. Familiarity with Agile software development practices. Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. Responsibilities: Collaborate with high-performing teams to develop embedded software and EGSE solutions. Provide technical guidance by refining requirements, creating user stories, and fostering collaborative designs in an Agile setting. Develop and integrate software for aerospace subsystems utilizing HIL/SIL environments. Design and implement automated infrastructure for space payloads. Create and execute test plans, procedures, and reports ensuring comprehensive traceability. Configure and document multi-device hardware/software systems under testing. Engage directly with flight hardware, EGSE, and imaging technologies. Utilize tools including COSMOS, Ruby, LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, Simulink, and DevOps platforms such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Confluence.
