Salary: $166,400 - 185,120 per year Requirements: We need 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, monitoring, SRE, operations engineering, or observability engineering. We need 3+ years of hands-on Dynatrace administration and implementation experience. We need experience working in enterprise-scale environments with thousands of monitored hosts and services. We need a track record of delivering observability solutions in highly available production environments. We need deep familiarity with Dynatrace capabilities, including OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI, Smartscape, Synthetic Monitoring, RUM, Metrics & Events API, Log Management, Distributed Tracing, and Service Flow Analysis. We need strong knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, virtualization, networking, and containers. We need database performance monitoring and troubleshooting experience for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, including execution plan analysis and query optimization. Responsibilities: We will serve as the primary Dynatrace SME supporting enterprise observability initiatives. We will design, implement, configure, and optimize Dynatrace monitoring solutions. We will administer Dynatrace tenants, OneAgent deployments, ActiveGates, integrations, and upgrades. We will define monitoring standards, governance, naming conventions, alerting approaches, and dashboard structures. We will promote observability best practices across infrastructure, cloud, databases, and middleware. We will monitor and assess performance across Windows, Linux/Unix, VMware, Kubernetes/OpenShift, public cloud services, storage, network, and load balancing. We will configure dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, and capacity planning reports. We will design and support database monitoring for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DB2 where applicable. We will analyze query performance, resource usage, locking, deadlocks, and transactions. We will develop database observability dashboards and KPI reporting with DBAs. We will build intelligent alerting to reduce noise and improve incident response. We will develop custom metrics, extensions, synthetic monitoring, SLIs, SLOs, and availability monitoring. We will implement event correlation and root cause analysis workflows. We will integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow, Splunk, PagerDuty, Jira, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. We will automate using PowerShell, Python, and Bash, and support Terraform-based infrastructure as code. We will participate in production support and major incident management, lead root cause analysis, and create runbooks. We will mentor engineers and support teams.
