Salary: $75000 - 109000 per year Requirements: Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline; Masters degree is highly preferred Minimum of 6 years experience in Systems Engineering focused on Information Assurance systems/products Active U.S. Government security clearance (DOD SECRET minimum) U.S. Citizenship is required Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities; capable of collaborating with others, influencing, and resolving cross-team issues Comprehensive understanding of the systems engineering process from concept phase through system testing Proficient in Architecture Development, Functional Analysis, Requirements Allocation & Traceability Proven experience in architecture, design, analysis, integration, and testing of NSA Approved Type 1 Certified systems or equipment Ability to serve as the sole Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Information Assurance, Security, and Cryptography Advanced skills in security architecture development, including making complex design trade-offs impacting system security Experience in negotiating security requirements with NSA Technical Evaluators Familiarity with NSA TSRD, IASRD, and FSDA requirements and processes Experience with NSA Security Evaluation Document (SED) CDRLs and multiple programs is highly desirable Knowledgeable in Type 1, Suite A, Suite B, and Commercial Cryptographic algorithms (Symmetric and Asymmetric) Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time Responsibilities: Serve as a Systems Engineer specializing in the protection of classified National Security information Apply expertise in security and cryptography throughout the Systems Engineering process to ensure on-time certification of National Security systems Conduct Concept of Operations development, Requirement decomposition/synthesis, Architecture Development, and analysis Lead security test planning and execution Collaborate with the Defense and Intelligence community to design, develop, and test Information Assurance solutions Maintain a focus on delivering best-in-class solutions to our customers with the utmost integrity and quality Technologies: Cryptography Security More: At L3Harris, we are committed to attracting and nurturing high-achieving talent passionate about their work.
