This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Applied AI Product based in the United States. This is a unique opportunity for a product leader to define how artificial intelligence transforms modern business operations and customer outcomes. In this role, you will take ownership of AI-powered product strategy, combining deep technical understanding with strong product judgment and execution. You will work hands-on with emerging AI technologies, building prototypes, developing agentic workflows, and turning ideas into scalable solutions. Collaborating with engineering, data, operations, and client-facing teams, you will shape products that create measurable impact and improve how teams work. Accountabilities Define and evolve the AI product vision, strategy, and roadmap by evaluating opportunities, challenging assumptions, and identifying where AI can create meaningful business value. Build and ship AI-powered products and workflows rapidly, moving from concepts and prototypes to production-ready solutions using modern AI tools and technologies. Develop agentic workflows and AI-driven capabilities that solve real user problems and improve operational efficiency. Partner closely with engineering and data teams to establish technical approaches, make build-versus-buy decisions, and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and production-ready. Lead product discovery by deeply understanding user needs, validating assumptions, gathering feedback, and continuously improving solutions based on real-world usage. Own measurable outcomes by connecting product initiatives to business impact, including customer value, adoption, efficiency, retention, and revenue growth. Drive successful product adoption through thoughtful rollout strategies, documentation, communication plans, and enablement programs. Establish strong cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, data, operations, and leadership teams while maintaining visibility into priorities and progress. Requirements Proven director-level product leadership experience with ownership of product strategy, discovery, roadmap development, and end-to-end delivery. Demonstrated experience building products using modern AI technologies, including hands-on experience with AI agents, agentic frameworks, or AI-powered workflows. Strong track record of shipping products that achieve measurable business outcomes and gain meaningful user adoption. Ability to prototype quickly and work directly with AI tools, modern software technologies, and data systems. Strong technical understanding of data platforms, SQL, modern data warehouses, and contemporary web technologies. Experience making technical decisions, evaluating architecture, and collaborating effectively with engineering teams. Ability to combine product strategy with hands-on execution, balancing vision with practical implementation. Strong user research and discovery skills, with the ability to identify challenges, validate solutions, and improve products based on feedback. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence executives, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders. Experience operationalizing product launches through documentation, enablement, rollout planning, and change management. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment where experimentation, autonomy, and rapid iteration are encouraged. Preferred experience includes marketing technology, partnership platforms, analytics products, data tools, open-source AI projects, or early-stage technology leadership.
