Position Title: DevOps Release Engineer III Work Set Up: Work From Home Schedule: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM PHT Job Location: Aperture Cloud - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga Quick Rundown: The DevOps Release Engineer III is responsible for defining and implementing release management, DevOps, and testing strategies across development, QA, and production environments, including Salesforce sandboxes and production systems. This role coordinates release planning, manages system environments, and supports CI/CD processes to enable reliable and minimally disruptive deployments across platforms. In this capacity, the Release Engineer plays a critical part in facilitating the seamless transition of development and configuration changes from design to production through repeatable, low-risk procedures. Additionally, this role designs and manages the transfer of data between Salesforce, legacy systems, databases, and unstructured data sources, upholding data integrity, accuracy, de-duplication, and compatibility throughout the process. What You’ll Do: Release Management and Testing Defines release calendars and aligns teams to those cadences. Manages change-freeze windows and coordinates with stakeholders to minimize disruption. Ensures backlog grooming accounts for Definition of Ready/Done from a DevOps perspective. Maintains release readiness checklists including test signoffs, UAT approvals, and rollback plans. Prepares deployment plans and manages execution during scheduled windows. Oversees environments (development, QA, production) and ensures parity across them. Mentors developers, admins, and analysts on DevOps practices and tools. Maintains appropriate version control to control code releases. Coordinates various degrees of testing (functional, regression, smoke tests) before deploying to environments. Handles troubleshooting of release-related issues and coordinates resolution with cross- functional teams. Participates in post-release validation and assists with rollback or remediation activities as needed. Tracks and reports on release activities and outcomes to support continuous improvement. Data Management and Governance Leads the execution of data refresh, migration, and integration plans to support release management. Maintains and governs environmental data integrity (metadata, database, configurations, workflow, user profiles, applications, permissions, attachments/files, etc.). Develops, tests, and deploys data loads and data migration scripts. Builds and enhances repeatable data pipelines and data processes. Maintains documentation for release processes, environment configurations, and data procedures. Coordinates environment access and support configuration management across development, QA, and production environments. Supports the configuration and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and related DevOps tools. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field Minimum of 4+ years of work experience in release management, data governance and DevOps Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and Apex code Experience with Salesforce and Azure deployment tools preferred (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos) Demonstrated experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline concepts Proven ability to support multi-environmental deployments (development, QA, production) Familiarity with data migration, integration, or data management processes preferred Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer) a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams Ability to translate technical information into user-friendly language Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot technical issues Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Why You’ll Love Joining the CO Fam!
