DevOps / Platform Engineer

📋 Description Build and own the core platform: Kubernetes, Kafka, databases, observability, and the CI/CD and Design and build product-critical infrastructure: isolated restore-test environments, on-prem Set infrastructure architecture across AWS and Azure, owning reliability, security boundaries, and Define the split with a managed-service provider for routine operations Collaborate with Backend and Data Engineering on infrastructure for pipelines and agentic workloads 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in DevOps, Platform, or SRE role, including building infrastructure from scratch Hands-on production experience with AWS and Azure Kubernetes (EKS) and Kafka in production Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform / OpenTofu) Experience owning infrastructure as a first or early infra hire or in a solo domain Strong security and tenancy instincts: customer data isolation, least-privilege access 🎁 Benefits Work with a seed-backed startup led by General Catalyst Live product with paying customers Be the first infra hire and shape the platform from scratch Ownership of architecture decisions across AWS and Azure Collaborate closely with Backend and Data Engineering teams
