The Role: DevOps Engineer (Mid-Level) As the DevOps Engineer, you'll lead the design, optimization, and automation of scalable infrastructure across both cloud and on-premise platforms. Reporting to the CTO, this role blends hands-on technical execution with strategic input, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing systems that support impactful digital products. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the DevOps function, fostering collaboration and technical growth. Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable deployments. Manage AWS environments to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and cost efficiency. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. Enhance observability with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Automate recurring processes to improve reliability and productivity. Ensure compliance with security best practices and disaster recovery standards. Collaborate with product and data teams to align infrastructure with business goals. About You 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering. Strong background in Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and SQL. Expertise in AWS (or Azure/GCP) infrastructure and automation. Skilled in Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Understanding of RESTful APIs, networking, and modern security standards. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. AWS certification is advantageous. Curious, collaborative, and driven by impact and technical excellence.
