DevOps Engineer

Why this role matters: We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and improve the infrastructure, tools, and processes for Vantage Compute's unified communication platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security, while driving continuous improvement in our systems. Your key responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure site reliability and performance. Work with security teams to enforce best practices and security protocols. Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure and Linux systems. Administer and fine-tune MySQL databases and MongoDB clusters. Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment. Implement monitoring solutions to ensure optimal system performance. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement proactive measures. Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance processes and productivity. What you'll bring Required: 7+ years of overall software development experience, including at least 6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer. Expertise in AWS, Linux systems, MySQL, MongoDB, and enterprise tools. Experience with Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience we consider a plus: Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Familiarity with Kubernetes, Ansible, and Docker Compose.
