DevOps Engineer

Salary: $80,204.8 - 133,681.6 per year Requirements: Strong background in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure Demonstrated expertise with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management Practical experience with GitHub, including source control, workflows, and CI/CD integration Experience designing, deploying, and operating Kubernetes and AKS environments Solid grasp of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation principles Ability to use GenAI capabilities to boost productivity, code quality, and operational effectiveness Experience with application release orchestration tools such as Massdriver, Redhat, GitLab, Harness, or similar platforms Capability to work independently and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills Preferred: experience with AWS cloud infrastructure Preferred: knowledge of cloud networking concepts such as VNets, routing, connectivity, and security Preferred: familiarity with Kanban, Scrum, or other Agile delivery frameworks Preferred: exposure to platform engineering and developer self-service models 3+ years of relevant experience with a degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation Responsibilities: Design, build, and support our Azure cloud infrastructure using a Terraform-first approach Develop and manage Kubernetes and AKS environments, including container deployments Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and related tools Partner with development teams to enable self-service infrastructure and deployment capabilities Apply DevOps best practices across build, release, and operations workflows Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues across cloud environments Help standardize our platform, strengthen governance, and build reusable modules Technologies: AWS Azure CI/CD Cloud DevOps GitHub GitLab Support Kanban Kubernetes Security Terraform ASP.NET Hardware More: We are hiring a DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role based out of Virginia Beach, VA on the first shift. We offer market-competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $80,204.80 to $133,681.60, along with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials, overtime, premiums, bonus opportunities, and standby/on-call pay.
