DevOps Engineer

Salary: $88000 - 131000 per year Requirements: We require one of the following certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification. We need five years of experience designing infrastructure-as-code patterns for API Gateway, VPC, EKS, IAM, and other AWS services within the past 10 years. We need five years of experience building automated workflows, serverless functions, monitoring tools, or infrastructure utilities using advanced scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell, along with API/SDK integrations. We need five years of experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. We need five years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and Linux and Windows administration. We require a bachelors degree, or four additional years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. Experience with the public sector or federal government is preferred. Responsibilities: We design, implement, and support AWS-based infrastructure in a product-centric environment. We manage and operate Kubernetes and Amazon EKS clusters to support scalable application workloads. We improve platform reliability, performance, and security through automation and proven practices. We create, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitOps methodologies. We enable automated build, test, deployment, and rollback processes. We promote DevOps best practices across development and operations teams. We develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK. We build reusable IaC patterns for API Gateway, VPC, EKS, IAM, and related AWS components. We ensure consistency, repeatability, and scalability across environments. We develop advanced automation using Python, Bash, and PowerShell. We build automated workflows, serverless functions, monitoring tools, and custom infrastructure utilities. We integrate APIs and SDKs to improve operational efficiency and system observability. We implement and maintain configuration management solutions using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. We provide Linux and Windows systems administration support for cloud and hybrid environments.
