About the roleYou’ll lead the design and management of scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure our platform is secure, performant, and ready to support heavy AI workloads. What you’ll do - Build and maintain cloud infrastructure optimized for AI workloads - Manage Kubernetes clusters, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines - Implement monitoring and observability systems for reliability - Enforce security and best practices across multi-account AWS environments - Collaborate closely with data and ML teams to align infrastructure needs - Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and GitOps tools What we’re looking for - 4+ years of cloud infrastructure or DevOps experience, AWS preferred - Strong Kubernetes and Terraform skills - Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk) - Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) - Comfortable with SQL and NoSQL database maintenance - Bonus: experience with MLOps, DevSecOps, or FinOps - Language: B2+ level in either English or Spanish (fluency in either is acceptable) - Flexible, problem-solving mindset ready to thrive in a startup environment - Availability to work in hybrid mode Why Nimbus Data Systems? - Work alongside a founder with a proven track record in AI startups - Join a company dedicated to building AI for good — focused on trust and impact - Competitive compensation package plus stock options - Based in Cloudworks, a dynamic co-working space near Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona; enjoy the perks that come from being part of Cloudworks, like gym subscription and restaurant discounts - A supportive, inclusive, and horizontal culture that values authenticity and growth Hiring process - Conversation-based (no coding tests) - Initial chat with CTO focused on your experience and projects - System design interview (onsite preferred) - Cultural fit interview with CEO - Offer We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who bring passion, curiosity, and resilience.
