As part of our continued scale-up, we are hiring a skilled DevOps Engineer to support core application environments, deployment infrastructure, and CI/CD automation across cloud platforms. Role Overview As a DevOps Engineer at Brightpath Technologies , you will work closely with engineering teams to build, maintain, and optimize cloud-based environments across multiple deployments. You will take ownership of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, infrastructure automation, and environment stability ensuring fast, reliable, and secure product delivery. This role requires strong experience in AWS and DevOps practices, a passion for automation, and a problem-solving mindset. Key Responsibilities • Configure and maintain AWS-based infrastructure. • Build, enhance, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. • Develop technical solutions using DevOps best practices. • Write custom scripts and tooling using Python / Golang / Bash. • Participate in architecture discussions and development planning. • Translate loosely defined requirements into actionable implementations. • Use open-source tools and technologies to solve specific infrastructure needs. • Collaborate with engineering teams to address deployment, scaling, and security issues. • Conduct incremental testing across code, deployment, and automation processes to reduce errors. • Monitor production environments and perform upgrades to ensure stability and reliability. Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. • 3–5+ years of experience as a Production/DevOps Engineer (or similar role). • Hands-on experience with AWS. • Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Golang, Bash, etc. • Experience working on open-source platforms. • Proven experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management (Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker). • Knowledge of virtualization environments. • Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems. • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases — ideally ElasticSearch or Cassandra. • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams. • Strong understanding of DevOps security and disaster recovery practices.
