Position: Desktop Engineer - End User Computing Specialist Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302 (Onsite) Hiring: W2 Contract Job Description: Overview: As an End User Computing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the end-user computing environment within our organization. Your role will focus on ensuring that all users have reliable access to the necessary technology resources, providing technical support, and implementing solutions to enhance user productivity and satisfaction. Requirements: Proven experience as an End User Computing Specialist, Desktop Support Engineer, or similar role, with a strong technical background in supporting end-user technologies. In-depth knowledge of desktop operating systems, productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, collaboration tools), and endpoint security principles. Experience with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Jamf, Intune) and remote support technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
