Drive MongoDB reliability and performance for customers, optimizing databases and establishing observability solutions.
📋 Description Embedded with the customer to drive MongoDB reliability, performance and observability. Review replica set and sharding architecture; design target-state HA. Profile slow queries; optimize indexes; deliver before/after benchmarks. Validate backup and DR strategies; define RPO/RTO and run timed drills. Establish observability and SLOs with alerts for MongoDB. Collaborate with customer engineers; communicate findings and timelines. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years of hands-on MongoDB administration and DBRE in production Deep expertise in MongoDB replica sets, sharding, backup and disaster recovery, and performance optimization Experience with MongoDB profiling tools, Performance Advisor and index optimization Proven ability to design and implement observability solutions, SLOs and alerting frameworks for databases Strong experience with Percona tools and MongoDB ecosystem 🎁 Benefits An opportunity to join a fast-growing company Learning and development opportunities Flexible working environment Options for career advancement Competitive salaries based on experience
