Database Support Specialist | Hybrid

Job Description Position OverviewWe're looking for a Database Support Specialist to support our Data & Digital Products team, reporting to Brandie McCoy. The role focuses on ticket support, data imports, system testing and process documentation within our membership database (NetForum). Full training on NetForum will be provided. This is an ongoing need for at least the next year. Key Responsibilities Manage ServiceNow and Zendesk support requests, including reviewing and testing issues, adding notes, reassigning, assisting customers and closing tickets Import event registrants and create events and sessions in the system Test new system releases before they go live, following vendor test guides Create SOPs, training guides and instructional videos (using Scribe) Qualifications and Requirements Qualifications SQL experience ServiceNow and/or Zendesk experience Experience with Scribe or similar documentation tools Background supporting membership organizations or associations Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 3–5 years of experience in database administration Proficiency in SQL and database management systems Experience with performance tuning and optimization Strong understanding of backup and recovery techniques Knowledge of security best practices for databases Perks and Benefits Comprehensive health and life insurance on your 16th day of employment, covering 1 free dependent on the 16th day of employment Flexible leave credits which may be used for vacation, emergency and sick leaves Superb and exciting Mid-Year Parties – with items to give away and cash prizes!
