Database Engineer

Salary: $134000 - 161000 per year Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance is essential. Must be capable of reporting on-site in San Antonio, TX up to five days weekly, according to customer needs. A Bachelors degree in a relevant field is mandatory. A Masters degree may compensate for two years of experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the functional area is required. At least 10 years of combined expertise in relational and cloud-based databases: - Database development and software engineering/development. - Database design and data modeling. - Requirements analysis and generation. - Development of systems and software architecture. A minimum of 5 years of experience with Enterprise DB. At least 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL. Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts. Demonstrated skills in developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment. Responsibilities: Provide subject matter expertise in the designated tasks. Utilize analytical skills to support process enhancement, specialized studies, and defining requirements. Engage in analysis, planning, and the creation of requirements documents. Develop functional models and procedures, as well as functional architecture. Perform other management and technical duties as required. Exhibit proficiency in the specialty area.
