Data Platform Architect with Azure and AWS

Salary: $168000 - 210000 per year Requirements: Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Azure Analytics, including expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting. Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure services related to data, computing, storage, networking, and integration. Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Strong command of SQL, with capabilities in debugging and optimizing queries. Experience in monitoring, incident management, capacity planning, and ensuring environment stability. Responsibilities: Oversee, assess, and enhance customer data platforms within various cloud environments. Optimize cost-effectiveness, performance, scalability, and reliability in ecosystems such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure. Utilize FinOps, data operations, and IT operations skills to maintain platform stability and efficiency. Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and platform deployments. Employ infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and ensure environment consistency. Implement monitoring strategies, alert systems, runbooks, and best practices for incident management. Lead or assist in migrations, integrations, and modernization projects across cloud data warehouses and distributed systems. Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers best practices and identifying potential risks while facilitating platform evolution. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and consistent outcomes.
