Design and maintain data models for enterprise data warehousing and support data governance initiatives.
About the role Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler. Apply dimensional modeling techniques and data modeling methodologies to support enterprise data warehousing. Design data structures aligned with the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers). Work with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, ADLS, and PySpark to support data modeling and integration. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and transformation. Support Master Data Management (MDM), data governance, and data quality initiatives. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data models meet business requirements. Ensure data models follow established standards, security requirements, and best practices. Support data warehousing initiatives within the banking or insurance domain.
