Data Engineering Manager

📋 Description Lead and grow a Data Engineering team with ownership and quality. Define team direction for data modeling, pipelines, quality, observability. Partner with engineering, product, analytics, risk, and ops to translate needs into scalable data solutions. Design reliable batch and near real-time data pipelines for internal/product use cases. Improve standards across SQL, dbt, Spark, Airflow, and Databricks. Contribute to org-wide planning where Data Eng interfaces with Data Platform and AI enablement. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, with prior people management experience. Strong hands-on foundation in modern data engineering. Experience designing and operating scalable data pipelines and datasets used by multiple downstream stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects end to end, from problem definition to rollout.
