Salary: $178,000 - 178,000 per year Requirements: Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, plus one year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation such as Operations Research Analyst or Database Developer; alternatively, a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in one of these fields and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation may substitute. At least one year of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes, OLAP technologies, data modeling, SQL, and Oracle. Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for business intelligence analytics. Build data structures using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Oracle, and OLAP technologies. Provide online reporting and analysis with OBIEE business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer across large multidimensional datasets and multiple sources. Gather business and functional requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, operable solutions aligned with the overall data architecture. Analyze source data systems and promote best practices among source teams. Contribute throughout the development life cycle, from design and implementation through testing, documentation, delivery, support, and maintenance. Create comprehensive, usable dataset documentation and metadata. Assess and decide on dataset implementations proposed by peer data engineers, as well as the adoption of new or existing software products and tools. Mentor junior data engineers.
