Data Engineer (Hybrid, Remote)

Salary: $71,000 - 111,000 per year Requirements: Strong SQL skills, including advanced joins, window functions, common table expressions, and performance tuning Python experience for data processing and automation with pandas or PySpark Hands-on experience with database and data warehouse modeling, including dimensional and normalized models Experience building and supporting data pipelines using Databricks and medallion architecture with Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers Understanding of data quality, testing, monitoring, and production support practices Experience applying engineering best practices such as version control, code reviews, automated testing, documentation, monitoring, and performance optimization Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills, with an operational mindset Clear communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical tasks Collaborative, service-oriented approach and comfort working with Principal Data Engineers and supporting analysts Organized, detail-oriented work habits and strong documentation practices Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and the software development lifecycle Retail or wholesale distribution data experience is preferred, especially in areas such as sales, inventory, products, pricing, merchandising, replenishment, logistics, or supply chain Responsibilities: Partner with our Principal Data Engineers to maintain healthy data pipelines and resolve bugs Write SQL and Python to support data engineering work Design and optimize database models Deliver well-modeled, trusted, certified data for dashboards, self-service analytics, reporting, and data science Technologies: Data Warehouse Databricks Support Python PySpark SQL pandas More: In this Data Engineer role, youll help us provide dependable data that supports reporting, analytics, and data science.
