Data Engineer Expert

Introduction & Summary A highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Data technologies, specializing in Big Data environments. Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data applications with a focus on quality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in consulting or development, with a technical orientation towards effective data solutions. Main Responsibilities Core duties include the delivery of project-based service and maintenance for data products. Responsibilities encompass: Design and develop new applications while maintaining existing components. Implement technical solutions aligned with project timelines. Ensure the quality and reliability of applications. Contribute proactively to the performance of Big Data & BI platforms. Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms. Develop data integration solutions using relevant ETL tools. Maintain and administer databases effectively. Deliver solutions that facilitate structured data access for analysis. Key Requirements 3–5 years of proven consulting or development experience with Microsoft Data technologies. Confirmed expertise in Big Data environments, particularly with Databricks (Python and Spark). Strong orientation towards technical development. Nice to Have Familiarity with Azure development components (DevOps tools, Data Lake Gen2, Data Factory v2). Experience using Azure Analysis Services – Tabular (DAX). Knowledge of SQL Server suite (on-premises), SSAS, and T-SQL. Proficiency in Power BI and Scala development. Expertise in optimizing data processing performance. Ability to function effectively in an English-speaking delivery environment.
