Data Engineer

This is a remote position. On behalf of our client, an international IT service provider, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to strengthen our engineering team. In this role, you will join a technology-focused team, building scalable and high-quality Azure-based data solutions to enable analytics and business insights. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions in Microsoft Azure Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Fabric/Data Factory and Python Create and manage Power BI datasets for reporting and analytics Collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions Requirements 3+ years in data engineering or similar technical roles Strong programming skills in Python for data pipeline/integration development Advanced experience with SQL, T-SQL, or PL/SQL Hands-on experience with Azure services: Synapse/Fabric, Storage Accounts, Logic Apps, Data Factory Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and deliver robust solutions EU citizenship or valid work permit required Fluent English Originally posted on Himalayas
