Data Engineer

For our client, a leading professional services organization specializing in audit, tax advisory, consulting, risk management, and financial & legal advisory, we are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a team delivering modern cloud and data engineering solutions. Key responsibilities Design, develop, and implement Cloud & Data Engineering solutions Bring a Data Engineering perspective to development teams and support business objectives Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure and Terraform Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards Work in an Agile/SCRUM environment Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment Manage, optimize, and support the Databricks platform Ideal candidate profile Proven experience in Data Engineering and Databricks platform administration Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, Spark, and Python Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Security-oriented mindset Basic understanding of Data Mesh concepts Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment Conditions Start: ASAP Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Germany) Contract: B2B Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience and expectations.
