Position Summary Our Ironwood Digital AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and help make a significant impact on our clients' success. Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation. Work You'll Do As a Project Data Engineer III on the project, you will: Administer and maintain Teradata environments, including servers, databases, partitions, tables, indexes, and storage structures to ensure system reliability and availability. Perform SQL performance tuning and optimization to improve query efficiency and overall database performance. Manage Teradata utilities (BTEQ, load utilities, query execution and workload management tools) to support data operations and processing. Monitor system health, identify maintenance needs, and execute upgrades, patch management, and performance enhancements proactively. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate system status, resolve issues, and provide updates on Teradata environment health. Qualifications Required : Bachelor's degree Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role 8+ years of experience as a Teradata DBA with strong expertise in database administration and system management 2+ years experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, load management, query execution management) and user/database administration 2+ years experience with SQL skills with demonstrated experience in performance tuning and query optimization Ability to travel 5-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Ironwood Digital, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,900 to $163,100. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
