The Data Architect will play a critical role in shaping and advancing Lumen Dynamics ’s Enterprise Data and Business Intelligence strategy. Drive the optimization of our current data ecosystem, design scalable and secure data solutions, and define a forward-looking architecture that enables innovation and competitive advantage. Translate strategic vision into actionable architecture through clear articulation, proof-of-concepts, technical reviews, and hands-on guidance. Serve as a champion and mentor teams on best practices, introduce modern data principles, and ensure our data platforms support analytics, AI-driven insights, and evolving business needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with other Engineers and Architects to define the enterprise data architecture roadmap. Drive the design and optimization ofOLTP and OLAPmodels for scalability, performance, and maintainability. Establish standards for data modeling, storage, and integration across systems. Partner with other key stakeholders within engineeringin developing a comprehensive data and BI strategy aligned with businessobjectives. Define data governance practices, data access control,compliance,and qualitystandards. Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new data technologies and frameworks. Own thearchitectural reviewprocessand guidance to development teams on data-related projects. Establish and ensure best patterns and practices for ORM usage (Entity Framework and others) and SQL optimization, according to business needs. Evaluate and recommend where AI/ML can enhance data-driven decision-making. Stay current with modern data engineering trends, cloud-native architectures, and big data platforms. Actively participate and take ownership of Data Architecture artifacts viaADRprocess. Drive AI adoption by introducing and guiding teams inleveragingAI capabilities within the data engineering space to enhanceinternalefficiency, innovation, and decision-making in everyday workflows. Liaison betweentechnology and product teams assistingteamsin translating business requirements into tangible architectures that meet business needs now in and in the future. Design data architectures that accurately reflect andsupportevolvingcomplexproductandbusinessprocesses andare required by our customer base. Lead data architecture initiatives, collaborating with cross functional teams, from concept through implementation, including governance and quality frameworks. Identifyopportunities for predictive analytics and advanced modeling. Support and promote the company values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis. Other strategic business initiatives or special cross-functional project involvement asrequired. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or relevant professional experience. 10+ years of relevant professional experience in architecting Enterprise Data and Business Intelligence solutions. Proven experience designing andoptimizinglarge-scale data warehouse implementations for multiple business units, with a deep understanding of polyglot environments. Ability to architect scalable, high-performance solutions supporting analytical and operational workloads, including query optimization and index management. Ability to clearly articulate data architecture concepts, build consensus among stakeholders, and guide the organization toward scalable, well-governed solutions that deliver measurable business value. Expertisein modern data architectures (e.g., Medallion, Data Lakehouse, MDM,DataMesh, Streaming) and dimensional modeling architectural patterns (StarSchema,Snowlake, etc.) Proficiencyin cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift,BigQuery, Synapse, Databricks) and integration with diverse data sources. Deep understanding of visualization and reporting platforms for service analytics (i.e.Tableau,PowerBI, etc.) Ability to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using theappropriate databasetechnology (SQL,noSQL, Graph,
