Data and Analytics Technical Lead

Data & Analytics Technical Lead WorkCover Queensland | Brisbane | Hybrid Talenza are partnering with WorkCover Queensland to help them build a team for a new greenfield Snowflake data platform. As the Data & Analytics Technical Lead, you'll provide hands-on technical direction, own detailed design decisions and help take the platform from build into production. What you'll do Lead technical design, architecture and implementation across data engineering, analytics and semantic modelling. Establish engineering standards for GitHub, CI/CD, testing, automation and release management. Steer the delivery partner and coordinate technical decisions with architecture, security, integration and governance teams. Ensure solutions are production-ready, scalable, secure and aligned to governance requirements. Mentor engineers and help shape the platform roadmap. What you'll bring Extensive enterprise data and analytics experience, including hands-on technical leadership. Strong Python and SQL skills, with Airflow and modern cloud data platform experience. Snowflake preferred; strong Databricks experience considered. Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, production support and data governance. Practical examples of using AI to accelerate engineering delivery-not just generate documentation. Why join?
