Data Analyst for the banking sector, Helsinki

We are looking for an independent problem-solver with proven experience in data handling, and reporting together with strong Excel and SQL skills. About the role In this role, you will take part in end-to-end ESG and Pillar 3 data reporting processes, data handling, and process automation. Together with the team, you will utilize your strong technical skills in Excel and SQL-with tools like Alteryx or Python as a plus-adapt flexibly to evolving requirements, and collaborate across functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality outputs. Work tasks You will support ESG reporting processes and data analytics workflows by handling end-to-end data processes, streamlining reporting, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality ESG insights. We are looking for 2+ years of professional experience in data handling, reporting, and process automation Fluency in English with strong cross-team collaboration skills Advanced knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of SQL A flexible approach and adaptability towards business and process changes Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Beneficial Skills with Python and/or Alteryx Understanding of banks' balance sheet structures Experience with ESG reporting or knowledge of ESG concepts Experience in reporting system development and end-to-end process handling Understanding of banks' balance sheet structure Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our client's wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
