Ironwood Digital seeks a Data Analyst to provide essential data and analytics support to the 2026 Party at the Polls campaign. This role sits at the intersection of direct voter contact, research, and program operations, helping ensure that the program's outreach is targeted, measurable, and grounded in data. Reporting to the Manager of Analytics & Research, the Data Analyst will support large-scale voter contact efforts, contribute to site prioritization and audience creation, and help ensure the program's learning agenda is executed with rigor. This is a high-impact role for someone who is equally comfortable working in SQL as they are explaining a data insight to a non-technical partner. This is a full-time temporary position concluding December 15th, 2026. ABOUT THE DATA & TECHNOLOGY TEAMThe Data & Technology team consists of data scientists, analysts, engineers, web developers, and product managers who develop, manage, and execute the short-and long-term technical needs and roadmap for all parts of the organization’s internal operations and external initiatives, programs, and campaigns. In addition, the team provides robust data analysis, builds and maintains a host of tools and infrastructure, and services Ironwood Digital ’s internal needs. YOUR IMPACT Support the execution of large-scale direct voter contact (DVC) programs across modes and platforms — including mail, SMS, and digital — ensuring voter universes are accurate, well-structured, and ready for deployment Build and maintain clean, well-documented data tables for analysis and universe creation, supporting the program's ability to target and reach voters at scale Support the program's research and learning agenda by adhering to established definitions of treatment and control groups and ensuring audience segments meet A/B testing standards. Support the identification and prioritization of voting sites for Party at the Polls activations, using data to guide geographic decision-making Provide analytical capacity across Ironwood Digital teams during a high-intensity season, including: Contributing to reports and presentations for internal and external audiences Delivering timely analysis of program performance Building automated processes and dashboards that surface real-time insights and reduce manual data work Other reasonable and related duties as assigned. YOUR EXPERIENCE 1+ years of work experience in an analyst role (including internships), or significant quantitative coursework including statistics, economics, modeling, regression analysis, or coding Experience with SQL required Experience with R or Python, BigQuery, and Google Data Studio preferred Experience with natural language processing (NLP) is a plus YOUR COMPETENCIES A healthy skepticism of data outputs — able to question results, pressure-test assumptions, and assess the real-world plausibility of findings before acting on them Ability to work collaboratively on coding projects using version control, clear documentation, and well-commented code Experience working with a comprehensive voter file Ability to implement automated solutions to reduce manual data work Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, accessible insights for non-technical audiences Ability to create data visualizations that are not just accurate, but genuinely insightful and easy to understand Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball Proficiency in Google Suite Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; comfortable juggling competing priorities in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment SALARY & BENEFITSThe salary for this position is $65,000 - $72,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits plan includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees, flexible paid time off, paid family & medical leave, access to a 401(k) plan, and more. Additionally, given the short-term nature of this program, successful candidates will receive continued health insurance coverage beyond the program end date as part of our commitment to supporting team members.
