Cyber Security Team Lead

Salary: $125000 - 226000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, though additional experience can substitute for the degree. We need hands-on experience managing RMF artifacts and maintaining system ATOs and IATTs. We require 3+ years of experience applying the Risk Management Framework (ICD 503) for DoD accreditation. We expect demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity analysis, accreditation activities, compliance systems, and RMF execution. We need the ability to multitask, lead a team of cyber engineers, and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. We require strong organizational and communication skills. We require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance. We need experience supporting or leading complex, multidisciplinary programs. Preferred qualifications include CISSP certification. Preferred experience with the Atlassian toolset, including JIRA and Confluence. Preferred one or more DoD 8570 IAT II/III certifications before start, such as CompTIA Security+. Preferred experience supporting DoD customers. Preferred knowledge of agile development methods and management. Responsibilities: We deliver timely and accurate cyber artifacts for the program. We lead cybersecurity efforts for specific software development and engineering initiatives. We develop cybersecurity requirements for inclusion in the product baseline. We assess, document, and report on the cybersecurity posture of multiple systems. We design and implement cyber mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities. We manage the policies, best practices, controls, and technologies used to secure cloud-based applications, data, and infrastructure. We create frameworks that embed security measures and controls into software design and implementation. We identify and prioritize threats to systems, applications, and the organization. We monitor, track, and report cybersecurity project status to internal and external stakeholders. We conduct vulnerability scans and compliance checks against DISA STIGs. We use and configure IA scanning tools such as Nessus and SCAP. We coordinate with our PMO and customer stakeholders to prioritize cybersecurity tasks.
