About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Birmingham, United States location (4527 Valleydale Rd.). In this role, you will be the face of our organization, delivering exceptional service to every customer who walks through our doors or calls our store. As a Customer Service Representative, you will combine your interpersonal skills with operational efficiency to create positive customer experiences while maintaining a well-organized and professional work environment. Greet customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously Take accurate customer orders and process transactions using our point-of-sale system with precision and efficiency Handle cash and payment processing while maintaining accuracy and following all security protocols Prepare products according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment throughout the store, including customer-facing areas and back-of-house operations Uphold professional appearance and grooming standards at all times, representing our brand with pride Respond to customer inquiries and concerns with empathy and resolve issues promptly and professionally Collaborate effectively with team members to support store operations during peak and off-peak hours Adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional duties as assigned to support team needs Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays when the team needs you most Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help others Cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system operation Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team Time management and organizational skills Reliability and consistent punctuality Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Professional demeanor and appearance Active listening and empathetic communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: Previous customer service or retail experience Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities Basic computer proficiency Positive attitude and high energy level Adaptability to changing priorities and procedures Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate Education/Certifications: None required Domain Expertise: None required All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
