About the role

Salary: $172000 - 221000 per year Requirements: We need at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a data center or other critical facility setting We require practical experience with mission-critical building systems such as UPS units, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution equipment We value strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document work and explain technical information clearly We expect working knowledge of common software tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) You must be physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs, climbing ladders up to 30 feet, working at heights, and accessing rooftops You must be flexible to work varying schedules, including holidays, and respond to site emergencies as needed You must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and work overhead frequently in large campus-style environments Preferred: experience with Corrigo work order management Preferred: Universal EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling Preferred: NFPA 70E training for electrical safety Preferred: experience in mission-critical, 24/7 operational environments Preferred: background in industrial controls, building automation systems, or energy management systems Preferred: vendor management and contractor coordination experience Preferred: relevant trade certifications or technical training in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems We require candidates to be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Responsibilities: We operate and maintain all critical building systems to support 100% uptime, including fire/life safety, HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, plumbing, controls, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, power distribution, and transformers We monitor, adjust, and service refrigeration, chilled water, air conditioning equipment, boilers, pumps, valves, piping, and electrical systems to keep performance at its best We record equipment readings, assess system performance, identify faults or abnormalities, and take prompt corrective action We manage work orders through CMMS, coordinate with vendors, and handle customer tickets professionally and on time We build a deep understanding of the data center infrastructure so we can respond effectively to incidents and events that may affect critical systems We follow emergency escalation procedures and respond to site emergencies to safeguard critical operations We store, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely while keeping the workplace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Technologies: CMMS Support AI Excel Security More: We are JLL, a global real estate and investment management company that helps shape a brighter way by combining world-class services, advisory, and technology for our clients.
