Control Applications Tech Intern

Salary: $48000 - 55000 per year Requirements: We are looking for someone currently working toward a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering at an accredited university. We value the ability to learn quickly and work independently. Experience with Matlab and/or Simulink is preferred. Experience using Microsoft Excel is preferred. Basic software coding skills are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. We appreciate candidates who can distinguish themselves, navigate obstacles, and deliver results. Prior internship experience is a plus, though it is not required. We need someone able to work 12 hours or more per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during summer break. Responsibilities: We will have you support our HVAC systems and applications development team within the Global Products group. You will help develop, test, and support control-related products for our business. You will learn the general system components and requirements of our Global Products business. You will design, build, and configure automated test setups to carry out assigned test plans. You will assist our development team with troubleshooting defects. You will work on smaller projects that support the development, simulation, and emulation of our products. You will work as part of a team under close guidance from experienced engineers while building your skills in applications, products, and tools. The role is with our HVAC systems and applications development team in the Global Products group.
