Content Design Manager Senior

As a Content Design Manager, you will be within Lumen Dynamics's Retail organization, supporting the Digital team. You will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH and Columbous, OH and Philadelphia, PA. We're looking for a Content Designer to join Lumen Dynamics Bank's digital team. At Lumen Dynamics, you'll build digital solutions that help people achieve their financial goals so they can focus on everything else life brings. You'll be a key player in shaping product design and strategy by collaborating with content designers, experience designers, agile development teams, and core product team members. You'll use a strong, critical voice to deliver an engaging, consistent and accessible experience to our audiences. In this role, you will: • Support content creation and be a subject matter expert, working closely with other content designers and experience designers to apply your content design skills to an established product • Identify problems and craft creative content solutions that educate and empower users • Collaborate with other content designers to maintain and deliver content guidelines that provide consistent language and labeling across a range of touchpoints • Collaborate with research partners and others to test and get feedback on content and experiences • Help shape the role of content in the design process, and partner with product managers for legal, risk and compliance reviews We think you could be successful if you: • Are a natural collaborator and an excellent communicator • Advocate for users and inspire a culture of design thinking • Can handle multiple projects and deadlines • Believe iteration is the best path to improvement and can adapt quickly to change • Take initiative and act on opportunities for improvement • Have working knowledge of design fundamentals in a digital space • Love language and feel passionate about things like voice, style and grammar Preferred qualifications: • 1-2 years working in UX with foundational understanding of best practices and principles • Experience working on user journeys (happy paths, sad paths, error states, etc.) • An online portfolio, writing samples or published work • Experience in or an understanding of agile development processes Lumen Dynamics is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Job Description Lead content vision and strategy for digital experiences in partnership with design, product management, & technology leaders. Oversee strategy on delivering an engaging, consistent, and accessible experience to our audiences. Lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices. Deliver a UX content vision, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates that implements the larger vision over time. Lead UX content design reviews and review deliverables from content designers. Mentors and develops leaders among the team. Advise on strategy for integrating writing and content strategy into the digital product development process in partnership with design, product management, & technology leaders.
