emagine is looking for an Expert IT Architect responsible for defining and governing solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, fulfilment of business requirements and delivery of secure, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions. This is for one of our client within the banking industry and need someone based in Finland Start: 2026-07-16 End: 2026-12-31 (extension possible) Location: Finland, Helsinki, 2-3 days/week at the office About the assignment Lead strategic architectural discussions to reduce complexity, enhance organizational agility, improve cost efficiency, mitigate risks and strengthen overall business outcomes Ensure a comprehensive understanding of both current and future applications and IT infrastructure landscapes, proactively identifying gaps, dependencies and areas requiring improvement Design architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and strategic technology roadmap Develop and maintain comprehensive solution design documentation, incorporating detailed process flows, system architecture diagrams, and data models to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business and technical requirements Collaborate with the architecture community, key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on solution design, technical standards, and delivery objectives The profile is for an IT Architect - Expert, which comes with a requirement of: 10+ years of experience with IT Architecture. 3+ years as Senior IT Architect. Knowledge and skills: 1. Excellent communication skills in English - to facilitate close cooperation with stakeholders and fellow architects and to enable solution design handover to international teams of developers. 2. Solution design through detailed process and system diagrams and data modelling. 3. Ability to translate business requirements to architectural concepts, especially in financial services, i.e. Retail Banking 4. Knowledge of process automation platforms: specifically Pega 5. Knowledge of frontend to backend integration patterns 6. Knowledge of integration frameworks: REST, CL Kafka 7. Knowledge of microservices and micro web apps. 8. Knowledge of application frameworks e.g. Angular, React Moreover, the candidate should: 1. Demonstrate proactivity and decisiveness, confidently navigating ambiguity 2. Communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and be willing to challenge decisions to achieve optimal outcomes 3.
