COBOL Developer

Role: COBOL Developer - Location: 100% Remote Duration: 9 months, renewable annually based on performance Interview: Video Important: This is a government client role requiring excellent communication, a professional and approachable personality, and strong hands-on Micro Focus COBOL experience. Must have LinkedIn and 2 professional references along with their references- Technical Stack: Micro Focus COBOL | CICS | JCL | DB2 | VSAM | Micro Focus Enterprise Developer/Server | Visual Studio/Eclipse Must-Have Requirements: 6+ years of hands-on COBOL and CICS experience. 6+ years of JCL , including PROCs and external sorts. 4+ years of DB2 and VSAM experience. Hands-on experience with Micro Focus Enterprise Developer and Enterprise Server . Experience with Visual Studio or Eclipse IDE. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Job Responsibilities: Support mainframe modernization, migration, and COBOL application refactoring. Maintain existing COBOL applications supporting inmate systems, finance, contracts, and procurement. Support UAT and migration activities involving Micro Focus Enterprise Server. Collaborate closely with business users and non-technical stakeholders.
