Implement cloud security practices and tooling while partnering with teams to integrate security across deployment.
📋 Description Champion and implement cloud security practices and tooling. Partner with teams to integrate security across deployment and monitoring. Consult, evangelize, and teach security to diverse audiences. Drive cross-disciplinary initiatives to improve security in engineering. Conduct threat modeling, security reviews, and risk assessments. Evaluate and integrate security tools for Vantage Compute's cloud. 🎯 Requirements 3+ years of hands-on security engineering and cloud computing. Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Proficient in Python, Java, or Golang with modern software practices. Comfortable with infrastructure-as-code and declarative configuration management. Hands-on experience operating and securing Kubernetes or similar container orchestration. Experience applying generative AI tools to security problems and software engineering tasks. 🎁 Benefits Flexibility to work from home with some in-person meetings.
