Cloud Full- Stack Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Full Stack Java Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud-native applications based on a microservices architecture. Work model: Fully remote Contract type: B2B Languages: French B2 required; English required Core technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, REST APIs, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture. Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and service integrations. Develop event-driven applications and asynchronous communication flows using Apache Kafka. Work with PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling, SQL queries, and performance optimization. Contribute to frontend development using modern Angular and TypeScript. Build responsive, maintainable, and reusable frontend components following established development standards. Work with Elasticsearch for basic search and data analysis use cases, including Kibana for monitoring and visualization. Package and run applications using Docker and support deployments in Kubernetes environments. Contribute to CI/CD workflows and source code management using GitLab. Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement activities. Ensure code quality, application performance, security, and maintainability. Communicate effectively with French-speaking stakeholders and team members. Requirements Proven professional experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on Java backend engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. Practical experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices. Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures. Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL. Hands-on experience with modern Angular and TypeScript, including the development of frontend components and application features. Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Kibana for basic search, monitoring, and data visualization tasks. Experience with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes. Experience using GitLab for version control and collaborative development; familiarity with GitLab CI/CD is an advantage. Understanding of cloud-native application development, deployment, and distributed systems. Good knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing, debugging, and code review processes. French proficiency at B2 level, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. Good English communication skills.
