About the role
Deploy and manage Azure SQL Database environments, ensuring performance and compliance with best practices.
📋 Description Deploy or migrate client environments per CAF/Well-Architected standards. Perform systems engineering across Azure IaaS/PaaS, Windows/Linux servers. Admin Azure SQL Database: provisioning, scaling, patching, lifecycle. Manage backups: failover groups, geo-replication, PITR. Query/index optimization; manage workloads with Query Store. DevOps with ARM templates and Bicep for IaC. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in cloud, hosting, or MSP environments. Azure SQL DB administration, perf diagnostics, SLA optimization. Familiar with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights. Indexing strategies, execution plans, and tuning. Networking, storage, backups, orchestration, and configuration management. Strong analytical and documentation skills.
