Cloud Application Developer (AWS)

Salary: $67000 - 123000 per year Requirements: We look for 3-6+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent blend of education and experience. We value experience leading small teams. We expect a foundational understanding of agile methodology, creative thinking, learning agility, and emotional agility. We require intermediate proficiency in IT automation, databases, configuration management, elastic computing, SaaS, PaaS, cloud security, customer centricity, communication, collaboration, analytical thinking, problem solving, and data-driven decision-making. We seek advanced capability in cloud computing, cloud solutions, software development, scripting languages, troubleshooting, software development lifecycle, cloud storage, and AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, CDK, SNS/SQS, and EventBridge. Responsibilities: We design, build, enhance, test, debug, and maintain scalable, accessible cloud applications. We support the technical shaping of business processes in the cloud. We create and maintain applications using multiple programming languages. We integrate data sources and assess issues related to incompatibility and security. We design, configure, and implement cloud-native software that addresses business needs. We maintain applications and infrastructure for cloud platforms. We help define strategies to improve the performance of existing cloud technologies. We develop workflows and processes aligned with best practices and cloud architecture. We apply knowledge of cloud resources, services, architectures, and service-level agreements to deliver scalable software products. We produce operational instructions and documentation for cloud computing environments. We establish development environments and continuous integration pipelines, using modern application patterns and efficient code practices. We translate user needs into technical specifications and support technical requirement gathering. We provide specialized consulting, analytical support, and technical guidance. We exercise sound judgment to diagnose and resolve problems within established rules. We work independently and handle non-routine situations, with broader responsibilities as needed.
