Clinical Terminologist (Contract)

📋 Description Identify, create, or validate mapping between medical terms from various healthcare systems to Help standardize data sourced from different health systems Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project manager, and modeling team to deliver Actively participate in efforts to enhance data management process as needed Develop and maintain project documentation Perform data checks and edits to ensure quality 🎯 Requirements Education in Medicine or related fields (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical laboratory science, Medical 2+ years of experience in the field 1+ year of practical application in clinical terminologies: SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC One of the following certifications (but not limited to): Certified Professional Coder (CPC) – Understanding of Electronic Medical Records, including but not limited to reading medical charts Understanding of vast medical terms and frequently used abbreviations 🎁 Benefits Be a part of building something special Strong, established leadership with decades of success Well-funded company Culture that prioritizes people and their passions Hybrid model and working from anywhere Hourly rate $30-$40 per hour
