About the role

Salary: $99000 - 146000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Services or a related analytics discipline is required. At least five years of relevant professional experience is required. Two years of management experience is preferred. Three years of experience in data analytics and reporting is preferred. Strong knowledge of data warehouses and analytics/reporting platforms, ideally within Epics Cogito ecosystem. Familiarity with cloud-based databases and warehouses such as Databricks, Fabric, or AWS; Databricks is strongly preferred. Experience with enterprise data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; Power BI is preferred. Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely to all levels of leadership. Proven ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries. Capacity to manage multiple initiatives while balancing competing priorities. Experience leading teams of report writers, analysts, and BI developers. Healthcare industry experience is highly desirable. Exposure to Agile and CI/CD practices is preferred; Azure DevOps is strongly preferred. Experience preparing data for AI use, including vectorization and embeddings, is preferred. Experience creating and deploying data science and predictive models is preferred. Responsibilities: Lead the planning, development, implementation, and ongoing support of analytics tools, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse and third-party BI platforms. Promote business intelligence across the user community to expand adoption of BI solutions and strengthen self-service analytics. Supervise and direct the daily work of the Analytics team and ETL administrators. Partner with the Analytics Team to develop and implement data governance standards. Work with the AI Application Team to prepare AI-ready data and support governance efforts. Support staff career development to deepen business intelligence and analytics expertise. Assist with the development of capital and operating budgets. Collaborate with IS Directors and other leaders on interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining staff. Set clear job expectations and communicate corporate and departmental goals, objectives, and priorities. Identify opportunities to improve employee satisfaction and engagement. Foster a productive, professional work environment. Address performance issues fairly, consistently, and respectfully. Ensure compliance with employment law. Provide thorough onboarding for new hires and encourage ongoing professional development. Confirm time and attendance in Kronos. Conduct regular staff meetings and huddles.
